Hi There

Here’ s the 29th ! episode of Blues Lick of the week. I felt like doing a bit of fast stuff I used to play a few years ago. Here’s the lick I often play in context of minor and major blues. This lick is something you would expect from Paul Gilbert. The lick is based on blues scale using a three note per string patterns( they are pretty tough to start with but with months of practice they become natural). The advantage off this lick is using a wide range of guitar neck so it’s a great tool to transition from low to high part of guitar neck.  The run I demonstrated would be normally followed by some long note with a vide and aggressive vibrato;-)

It is probably more advanced lick but the concepts from it can be applied immediately by beginners. If you are curious how, get in touch to book a lesson and I will show you;-)
