I hope you have been enjoying the previous episodes of my weekly blues lick tutorials. This week we have another minor blues lick that can be also played in traditional dominant sounding blues over the chord IV. I don’t know if this lick is something you can hear from recordings of great guitar masters but it’s sounds quite cool due to a lot of tension it’s creating. I am sure this lick will have application in rock or even metal tracks. That’s why I called it ‘modern’ I hope this demonstration will inspire you to create your licks.  If you struggle to learn this lick due to speed I suggest getting in touch and I can break it down for you personally;-)  Remember that the first lesson is free and I teach both from  my home studio in London and via FaceTime and Skype. As usual please share and like on Facebook if you like what you see
