I would like to bring to your attention the music of T-Model Ford (James Lewis Carter Ford) an American bluesman who recently died at the age of 93. His life and musical achievments are the proof that it is never too late to learn guitar.
Ford took up the guitar at the age of 58 when his fifth wife left him and gave him a guitar as a leaving present. Ford trained himself without being able to read music or guitar tabs by trying to emulate the sounds of his favourite guitar players. He has recorded seven albums.
So what is in this story for you? Possibly you are about the same age and have a lot of life experience to share with people! Why not to learn guitar and play the blues;-) Please contact me for a free introductory lesson and I will show you some basic blues songs to get started.
